For those of you who have had a chance to review the conference schedule for ICEM 2025, you will have seen that there are a number of presentations taking place that highlight the work of the GEM Centre or broader global and local health equity work that has been undertaken by colleagues affiliated with the GEM Centre. 

Below is a link to a list which highlights these presentations, recognizing of course that many of our colleagues are also well represented in other areas of the program and that there are many more presentations that touch on global equity work. If you have other presentations that you would like added to this list, please feel free to email the details to me and I would be happy to add them.

We also wanted to highlight a few additional committee meetings/events:

  1. The GEM Centre will have a booth at the Educational Marketplace (Booth 15), which is taking place on Monday May 26th from 10:00am-1:00pm.
  2. The CAEP Global EM Committee Meeting will be taking place on Monday May 26th from 12:00-1:00pm.
  3. The CAEP Health Equity Committee Meeting will be taking place on Monday May 26th from 1:00-2:00pm.
  4. Sahil Gupta has planned a casual “Picnic in the Park” on behalf of the CAEP Health Equity Group. Come find your people, friends/family/kids welcome!
