Ethiopian Conference of Leadership in Emergency Medicine (ECLEM)

Built into the mission of TAAAC-EM has been the importance of leadership training to complement the growth of the emergency medicine specialty within Ethiopia. 

Since 2015 and through an ongoing collaboration between TAAAC-EM, Addis Ababa University and the Ethiopian Society of Emergency Professionals, the Biennial Ethiopian Conference on Leadership in Emergency Medicine has grown into a core component of TAAAC-EM’s work. As the speciality continues to evolve, the conference has grown and adapted to meet the needs and wants of physicians and allied health care providers. Through the continued generosity of the conference sponsor, the Donner Canadian Foundation, this conference is free of charge for all attendees, and also offers as well as travel sponsorship sponsored the attendance for out of town delegates. The next conference will be held in Addis Ababa University in November 2026.
