Graduates and leaders of the TAAAC-EM program and EM residency at Black Lion Hospital, Drs. Menu Sultan, Gelila Mengistu, Finot Debebe, Aklilu Azazh, and Indi Trehan, published a research paper in the African Journal of Emergency Medicine this month. The paper, titled “The burden on emergency centres to provide care for critically ill patients in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia”, is focused on exploring patient acuity and treatment times in two ECs in Addis Ababa – Black Lion Hospital (Aka. Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital or TASH) and St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College.
