Laying the Groundwork: Developing a Global Health Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the University of Toronto

Project Description: This project investigates our internal and external environment, through a systematic review and needs assessment, to inform the design of a global health EM fellowship in response to the growing demand for formalized specialty-based training programs in global health, specifically in emergency medicine (EM).
Funding: This project is supported by the Education Development Fund, Faculty of Medicine and Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto.
The GEM Climate Commitee is in its early stages of formation. The goal of the Climate Committee is to impact climate change and health, through the lens of our specialized field of global health and emergency medicine. Currently underway is a carbon footprint evaluation of TAAAC-EM, led by University of Toronto EM resident Juliana Duffy.
