We are proud to share this Toronto Star editorial, written by Drs. Andrea Somers, Jennifer Hulme and Kate Lazier, about the initial successes of the PHONE-CONNECT project: “ER doctors gave cellphones to their patients and results were stunning.”

PHONE-CONNECT, which a project spearheaded by Dr. Andrea Somers, is focused on distributing cellphones to patients in the emergency department who do have access to a telephone.
